O R D E R:
     In the reference read above the Information Technology, Electronics
& Communications (ITE&C) Department has requested to constitute e-
Pragati Committee at the departmental level for all the participating
departments with a mandate to co-ordinate the implementation of e-
Pragati project.

2. Accordingly, as per the guidelines of ITE&C Department, an e-Pragati
Steering Committee for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (PR & RD)
Department is hereby constituted with the following members with a
mandate to co-ordinate the implementation of e-Pragati project:

1.Prl. Secretary to Govt., PR&RD Dept., - Chairman
2.Commissioner, PR & RD - Member Convenor
3.Engineer-in-Chief, PRED - Member
4.Chief Engineer(Admn),RWS& S Dept., - Member
5.Deputy Secretary to Govt.,(OP)PR&RD Dept., - Member
6.District Panchayat Officer, West Godavari District - Member
7.Chief Information Officer, PR&RD Dept., - Member
8.Representative from ITE&C Dept., - Member

3. The following are the responsibilities of the e-Pragati Steering
Committee

1.Sign-off to e-PRS Documents(Dept. Requirements Documents)
2.Bid Process Management for Identification of System Integrator
for design & development of Dept. Packages
3.Steer the implementation of e-Pragati Program in the Depts. by
having appropriate action plans in place
4.Review the implementation of e-Pragati Program vis-à-vis the
scope finalize in the e-PRS/RFP Documents
5.Closely monitor the milestones for the Packages
6.Identify any changes required in the Packages (or) any special
integration/service requirements and place the same before
EADG committee for approval(Headed by Advisor, EGov,
Electronics &IT)
7.Approve and forward the budget estimates Package-wise to CEO,
e-Governance Authority Mission
8.Send recommendations for payments to CEO, e-Governance
Authority Mission based on the milestones
9.Organize Inter-departmental meetings with other Stakeholder
departments, as required
10.Assess the Capacity Building requirements in the departments
concerned in association with ePragati Academy(proposed)
11.Seeking Technical Assistance from ITE&C Dept., as and when
required.
