ORDER
Government of Andhra Pradesh is developing the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region as
not only a capital of the State but also industrial, commercial, educational and health centre
of India. The objective is to make the city named Amaravathi in Krishna District as a World
Class City.
2. As a part of the above process, Government of Andhra Pradesh desires to develop
Major Logistic Centre in suitable location either in Andhra Pradesh Capital Region or at
suitable location nearby. The proposed Logistic Centre shall be based on Rail, Road, Air and
Water transport connectivity.
3. Government hereby constitute a Committee with the following members to finalize the
concept, timeframe, financial implication as well as PPP model for the said logistic centre;

Dr. R.C. Sinha, I.A.S.(Rtd)             - Chairman
Sri Jamdhar,                                   - Member
Ex. Secretary PWD,
Govt. of Gujarat.
Sri R.K. Jha                                 - Member
Ex. Transportation and
Communication Head CIDICO & MADC
Other members as nominated by Govt. of A.P.

4. The Committee shall meet as frequently as decided by the Chairman of the Committee
and on such places, as Chairman deems necessary. The committee shall complete its report
within a period of 6 months. The Chairman is authorized to invite any persons as observers
of the Committee. Further, he may appoint any persons/ company institutions to study the
logistics system for assisting the committee on such payment which he deemed fit. The
Chairman and other members may visit other successful logistic centers to study and
incorporate such practices in the logistic centre now proposed.
5. The Chairman and non-official members will get a sitting fee of Rs.15,000/- and Rs.
10,000/- respectively. Entire expenses of the Air travel, local transportation, boarding and
lodging shall be reimbursed by the concerned department of the Government. The suitable
accommodation for the Members of the committee shall be decided by Chairman.
6. All the Departments and undertakings of the Government shall extend their help to the
Committee as required.
7. This Order issues with the concurrence of Finance (FMU-I&I) Department vide their
U.O.No.44027/96/2016., dated 17.03.2016.
